New Autumn/Winter mini catalogue

I came home recently to find a pile of 4 SU boxes on my doorstep!

The new Autumn/Winter mini catalogues were in one of the boxes as well as my pre-ordered goodies - I just need to get time to get started trying everything out now.  If you would like a FREE copy of the new mini catalogue please get in touch and I will post you out a copy.  I will be putting through the next group order on Friday 1st September - the day the catalogue goes 'live.'  If you can't wait 'til then and want to place an individual order from the current annual catalogue, please use this month's Hostess Code -

Petal Garden and Blooms and Wishes

At the last class we used some papers from the Petal Garden DSP pack to make a pop up card, pairing it with sweet sugarplum card and ribbon. We used the Blooms and Wishes stamp set.  We also used this stamp set to make another card, trimmed with Powder Pink ribbon. The third card used dies from the Seasonal Layers set and I forgot to take a photo of the fourth card before giving it away!!
The next class is planned for Friday 4th August and I will be putting through a group order after the class.

Daisy punch

New Annual Catalogue

The new Stampin Up annual catalogue has arrived!! If you would like a copy please PM me and I can post one out for £3.50. 

 The next cardmaking class is planned for Fri 2nd June when we will get to see and use some of the new products. Classes run from 10:30 to 12:30 and cost £10. Booking is essential - by Wednesday 31st May please.

High Tide

These are a couple of the cards we made at the class this morning using stamps from the High Tide set.

High Tide Class

Today's class

In the class this morning  we made two cards using the 'Beautiful You' stamp set and two using the 'Nailed it' stamp set - both sets are from the new spring summer catalogue.  I always find it difficult to make cards for men so this new set is perfect and I was pleased to find a tutorial for making the tool chest on Queen B Creations blog.

25th anniversary

Recently I was asked to make a Silver anniversary card so I used silver glimmer paper, the Bloomin Hearts Thinlits and stamps and the Large Number Framelits.  I am entering the Allsorts challenge (Let's celebrate), Tuesday Throwdown (Lovenotes), Penny's Challenge (Anything goes), Simon Says (The colour of love) and Crafty Cardmakers (Love, love, love)

21st birthday

I made this card recently using Island Indigo card and DSP from the Blooms and Bliss pack (I had to buy a second pack of this paper as I was afraid to use it all up!) I cut the 21 using the Large Numbers Framelits and then painted over them with the clear Wink of Stella brush to make them glitter.  most of the flowers were made with the Petite Petals stamps and matching punch, although the larger flower was made with a retired stamp and punch.  The leaves were die cut from Mint Macaron card using the leaves from Botanical Builder Framelits set. I am entering this card in the Simon Says challenge (Anything goes), Allsorts (Let's celebrate) and Die cutting divas (Anything goes)

Moon Baby

The first stamp set I ordered from the new Spring Summer catalogue was 'Moon Baby' and I have made quite a few cards with it already.  This is one of the ones we made at the January class and as I had got the 'Any Occasion' set from Sale-a-bration we used it for the sentiment.  The image was coloured using the new watercolour pencils and the Aqua painters. I painted over the moon and stars with the Wink of Stella brush to make them shimmery - although it doesn't show up all that well in the photo. I am entering it in the Simon Says challenge this week as it is 'Anything Goes.'

Sale-A-Bration

Today is the start of this year's Sale-A-Bration - when you can choose a free product from the SAB catalogue every time you spend a total of £45 between now and the end of March. The new Spring/Summer catalogue also goes live today.  If you would like a FREE copy of both catalogues please get in contact with me and I can post them out. 

The provisional dates for Friday morning classes for the first half of this year are:  6^th January,  3^rd February,  3^rd March,  7^th April,  5^th May, 2^nd June.  I intend to put through a group order after each of these classes so P&P charges will only cost £1 each.
