Christmas 'Stamp a stack'

In the October card making class we made 12 cards in 2 hours - a good start to the Christmas cards.  We used the 'Cookie Cutter' stamps and punch and some of the Candy Cane Lane DSP. It's amazing how many cards you can make from one pack of DSP - so far this pack has been used to make 52 cards and there are still 4 full 12" x 12" sheets left!!

September class

Here are the cards we made on Friday morning.  We started off by making baby cards using the Baby Bear stamps (idea from Amanda Bates ) and the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamps and punch.  Then we made the little 'Handbag Organiser' - which holds a packet of pocket tissues, a packet of hand wipes and an emery board (it involved a lot of scoring and folding!) To finish with we used the 'Home Sweet Home' stamps and dies to make the little 'New Home' card.

August Class

Here are the 3 cards and little covered notebook we made at the class on Friday morning.  We used stamps from the Pretty Kitty set and the new Fox Builder punch (which can be used to make all different kinds of animals - not just foxes!)

Last craft class makes

Here are the things we made at last Friday's class - there will not be another class now until the first Friday in August, though I will probably put an order through at the end of this month or early July if anyone 'needs' anything.

Launch of new catalogue

The new annual catalogue has now arrived and we will get to use some of the new products at the next class on Friday 3rd of June.  Orders from it can also be placed on the day as it goes 'live' on the 1st of June.

Cardmaking class

The next cardmaking/papercrafts class is planned for this Friday (6th May) morning from 10:30 - 12:30.  Please book by Wednesday evening.  All those who place an order on the day will get a FREE copy of the new annual catalogue (normally costing £5 posted, or £3.50 if collected).

In the Meadow

In this morning's class we used the 'In the Meadow' stamp set with markers, ink pads and the water brush to make 3 cards.  We also used the instructions provided by Crafty Hallett to make the gift bag.  The cupcakes for our tea break were decorated using a new set of cutters I bought at the Cake Show in the NEC a couple of weeks ago.

I was asked to make an 80th Birthday card with primroses on it (for a lady called Primrose) so I used the pansy punch as it was the closest shape to primroses! On my desk you will also see my little notebook where I'm making my list for the NEC on Friday.  I only found out last time that you can actually get the entrance tickets for free using Tesco vouchers - I had noticed other people ahead of me in the queue had tickets that said Tesco on the top so I looked it up and found you can get them for £3 of vouchers.  I'm really looking forward to it this time as your ticket also gets you in to the cake decorating show in the hall next door!! Botanical Gardens

I'm loving this Botanical Gardens set of dies, photopolymer stamps and DSP.  We used it at last Friday's card making class and I've made quite a few more cards since that.  Its a great way of using up those small pieces of card (as crafters don't like to throw anything out!!)
