WOYWW 345

A late link to WOYWW 345 but my desk is such a mess I can't put it on display!! I'm still tidying my craft room but it seems to be getting worse instead of better.  At least with my craft room being up above the dining room/sunroom it's the warmest room in the house - so it's the best place to be when the weather is so cold.  Poor Whiskers is trying to keep her paws warm on the radiator!!
Just so I have some craft to show you, I have a photo of my latest knitting project so far.  It's going to be a cardigan (Debbie Bliss pattern and wool) but although I've been knitting the medium size it looks very narrow so I'm not too sure if it will fit :-(

  1. Nice knitting project! Glad your craft room is warm - mine is too. My poor cat spends most of January (and February, March) stretched out in front of the heat register. He can hear when it comes on and jumps off my lap to lay down in front of it. Wish I could

  2. Golly Bernice. I envy you and Whiskers. It's sure not warm in my craft room.

I always say when a project looks its worst, you know you are nearly finished. So, I would say you are on your final lap. Keep it up.

Thanks for visiting me. Happy WOYWW from #2.

  3. Hi Bernice, not to worry about your desk, clearing up always creates more mess at first ... the old adage that you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs springs to mind :) Anyway, Whiskers makes up for the lack of desk. Our Bonnie likes to tuck her bottom up against the radiator even when, for me, it's too hot to handle :) I'm looking at your knitting and thinking that the rib pattern will probably stretch quite a lot and so it is probably wider than it looks. Hope it makes the perfect fit when finished. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #51

  4. It's rib, very stretchy, it'll be fine! I love the colour...Debbie Bliss' patterns are great! You're right, I'm crocheting squares for a blanket...for a charity, I don't know which one yet. Your cat made me laugh..our old moggy Ron has taken up permanent residence in front of the wood burner!

  6. Hi Bernice, Happy WOYWW and thanks for your visit. I love knitting but other than some tiny hats and booties haven't knitted for years...not that we need garments in this climate. Your cabling looks fab..they do look thin but have plenty of stretch. Have a great week RobynO#36

  10. That's the second cat this week posted on top of the radiator. I've knitted a couple of Debbie Bliss patterns free from Ravelry.com - I like a bit of aran knitting. Hope this one does fit x Jackie 26
